Rare 1904-1905 edition, in very good condition. Illustrated throughout and complete with all coloured maps, plans, tables and diagrams. Maps include one of the Orange River Colony and Southern Rhodesia and more of other provinces and cities. To the front and back of the book is a collection of period adverts. This edition also contains a chapter from page 274 – 276, of a diary of the Second Anglo Boer War. An excellent and complete copy which is rare in this condition. Externally, pale blue cloth hardboards with black lettering to front board and spine. Some bumping to head and tail. Boards are a little grubby with minor rubbing to joints. Binding is firm. Internally, pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Occasional spots of foxing throughout. Front and back advert sections are tanned due to the use of a different paper. Overall condition is very good.
