Rare first edition, hard cover guide, to the Resources and Opportunities in the Rhodesias and Nysasaland (A guide to commerce and industry) in very good condition. As per the foreword, the book “is most comprehensive and contains a wealth of factual matter on all aspects of the economy of the area.” In the early pages and at the back, there are period adverts. Numerous b&w and colour photographs, tables and maps. This is an incredibly informative compact guide and provides a valuable insight into the Rhodesias (now Zimbabwe and Zambia) and Nyasaland (now Malawi) in the 1960s. Externally, publishers original light blue cloth boards with titling stamped in black on front and spine. Minor wear to the extremities with some bumping to spine ends and cover corners.
