Rare, first edition, hardcover, in good condition. The book looks to have been rebound, as it has a gilt stamp of the NEW SOUTH WALES LIBRARY OF PARLIAMENT on the front cover. There is a large colour foldout map of the Colony of Natal at the back of the book. Binding is firm , with some light wear to extremities. Page 174 indicates a note referring to advertisements, which appear to be missing. Internally, some foxing throughout but overall considering its age, this is a good copy of a scarce book.
